Firefighters are tackling a blaze at the Old Park in Canterbury.
They received the call on Monday afternoon after sightings of smoke rising into the atmosphere.
It is the second time in just over a week that crews have been called to the area.
The Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it sent four fire engines and a water unit to the scene.
The Old Park is an area of open MoD land which runs from the back of the Poets' Estate off Sturry Road to the back of Howe Barracks at Littlebourne Road.
