A bonfire display in Tyler Hill near Canterbury has been cancelled due to the poor weather predictions and high winds.
Gates were due to be opened from 5.30pm today (Saturday) with the main bonfire to be lit at 7.15pm.
But yesterday organisers wrote on Facebook that they had to cancel the event due to predictions of heavy winds and rain coming in from the west.
They added that retailers who had sold tickets have been told to refund the price, as long as customers can show the correct ticket stub number.
