Greggs Canterbury break-in sparks arrest of man

A man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a branch of Greggs and stealing crisps and drinks.
Police were called to Canterbury's Sturry Road branch of the popular bakery chain in the early hours of Monday, after a report of a burglary.
The break-in is thought to have happened sometime between 3.05am and 3.30am.
A photo shared by police on Twitter shows the front door of the premises smashed, while items including packets of crisps and drinks were reported stolen from inside.
Officers carried out enquiries at the scene.
Later on Monday, they arrested a 21-year-old local man on suspicion of burglary.
He has since been released from custody pending further enquiries.
