Four arrests made after man and woman attacked in Canterbury

Four men have been arrested a man and woman were assaulted in a street robbery.

Police were called to St Dunstan's Street, Canterbury, after a man and a woman reported they had been attacked by a group of people.

A passerby captured the incident - in which a silver neck chain was reportedly stolen - on his mobile phone.

And now detectives have revealed they have apprehended four men since the incident took place at 11.35pm on November 4.

A spokesman said: "Following inquiries, officers arrested two 21-year-old men from Canterbury, a 21-year-old man from London, and a 22-year-old man from London.

"All have been released under investigation."
