10:18, 14 October 2008
He has interviewed Britney Spears, the Beckhams and Christina Aguilera and broadcast his show from Los Angeles, Sydney and Ibiza.
Now Louis Hurst is a new addition to kmfm’s weekday evenings and Sunday morning slots.
And it is something of a homecoming for the former Blean Primary and Chaucer Technology School pupil.
Louis, 29, spent at decade in Merseyside, hosting the breakfast shows on Liverpool stations Radio City and Juice FM.
He took a break from the industry in 2005, starting up a marketing events business which he has transferred to Kent.
Louis’ new show The Evening Republic began this week.
On Sundays, between 8am and midday, Louis’ Singalong Sunday, will play old and new records.
He and wife Lisa live in Chestfield with children Amelia and Felix.
