Teenage girl struck by hit-and-run driver in Rheims Way, Canterbury, taken to hospital

A teenage girl was taken to hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.
Police are hunting the motorist following the collision at about 6pm on Saturday in Rheims Way, near the Wincheap roundabout in Canterbury.
The girl was injured and attended the hospital to be checked over.
“The vehicle was reported to have left the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate it,” a police spokesman said.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage which may assist, to contact police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 16-1023.
