A police helicopter has been circling over seafront cliffs following a possible sighting of a man missing for 10 days.
Daniel Venes, 31, from Canterbury, was last seen at about 6pm on August 14, in the College Road area of Margate.
Officers and a police helicopter have been searching the Reculver area of Herne Bay this afternoon.
A police spokesperson confirmed the operation was in response to a possible sighting of Mr Venes in the area.
Last Wednesday, a new image was released of him, which shows him shortly before he was reported missing.
A police helicopter circled over Boughton-under-Blean, between Faversham and Canterbury, last Tuesday following another reported sighting of him in the area.
Sergeant Ruth Colquhoun said last week: "We are very keen to check that Daniel is safe and hope this image may assist anyone who might have seen him since he was reported missing."
Mr Venes' friends and loved ones have taken to social media to pray for his safe return, and to urge him to make contact.
One family member wrote: "Come home Dan please. Your family are going out their minds. You're not in trouble. We all love you so much. Please come home."
A friend added: "Please contact someone Dan."

Mr Venes is 5ft 9ins tall with a slim build and short, dark hair.
