The University of Kent has been named among the best in the country, ranking 16th place in new league tables released today.
The 2016 table, published in today's Guardian newspaper, reveals the uni has climbed four places since last year with an overall score of 75.5 out of 100.
The score is based on a combination of factors including student satisfaction with courses and teaching, student to staff ratio and employment prospects after graduation.
Kent uni, which has campuses in Canterbury, Medway and Tonbridge, fared better than Canterbury Christ Church, which fell nine places.
Its overall score was 48.4, ranking 101 on the list - compared to last year's 96.
Unsurprisingly, Cambridge claimed the top spot with a rating of 100, followed by Oxford in second place with 97.5.
