Suspected dealer charged after cocaine and cannabis found in raid in Blean, near Canterbury

A knuckleduster was seized alongside more than £30,000 worth of suspected cocaine during a police raid which led to a man being charged.
The operation carried out near Canterbury is said to have uncovered drugs, cash, and the weapon.
Paul Moat appeared in court after officers carried out a warrant at Bourne Lodge Close in Blean on Tuesday morning.
During the operation, a number of mobile phones, sim cards and laptops were also found.
Officers also found a bag for life containing items believed to be cannabis bud as well as digital scales, a quantity of cash and a bag of suspected cocaine.
Moat, of Bourne Lodge Close, was arrested and charged with possession of 233g of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of 1.4kg of cannabis with intent to supply, and a possession of a knuckleduster.
The drugs are believed to have a combined street value of £32,800.
The 34-year-old appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.
The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, October 23.
