Pair injured in crash near Granville pub in Street End in Canterbury

Two drivers have been taken to hospital after a crash in Canterbury this afternoon.
A man and an elderly woman, who suffered a broken leg, were injured in a crash outside the Granville pub car park, in Street End.
It involved a reversing car being struck by a 4x4 in Stone Street at around 2.15pm. Kent Police said a third car was also involved.
Two drivers were taken to the QEQM Hospital, in Margate, with non-life threatening injuries.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to reach the woman. Her passenger was unhurt.
Kent Police closed the road while the crash was cleared.
