A Canterbury university celebrating its 50th anniversary has announced a London Eye style attraction will be placed on campus.
The University of Kent revealed the popular tourist draw will offer panoramic views on the city when it comes to the Canterbury campus later this month.
It was announced as part of the university's 50th anniversary and will be based on the Rutherford lawn from Wednesday, September 24 until Sunday, October 19.
The university's website says the giant wheel will be 33 metres tall with 24 pods taking 10 minutes per journey.
It reads: "It is an exciting opportunity to see the University and the city of Canterbury offering you a panoramic view of the surrounding areas.
"We will welcome everyone from Kent’s community to enjoy this unique attraction."
Rides cost £6 with discounts available for Canterbury resident card holders and under 12s.
