Crash at Wincheap roundabout in Canterbury

Drivers were delayed this evening after a collision involving a lorry and car.
Police were called to Wincheap roundabout in Canterbury where the two vehicles collided.
The crash happened on the exit towards Wincheap.
Police did close the A28 to traffic travelling towards Thanington as it was blocked by the lorry, but the road has since reopened.
It is not yet known if anyone was seriously injured. Police have been contacted for comment.
Roadworks were also causing delays for motorists in the area.
One man who was stuck in it earler, but didn't want to be named, said: "It is absolutely chaos the traffic around Canterbury tonight.
"It's took 45 minutes to get from the St Peter’s roundabout to the fire station on the ring road."
