A2 shut between Canterbury and Brenley Corner due to large lorry fire

The A2 has been closed in both directions due to a lorry fire.
A three-mile stretch between Canterbury and Faversham is currently shut to all traffic.
A host of fire engines are at the scene and police have blocked access from Brenley Corner to Gate Services at Boughton.
It is not known how long the key stretch of road will be shut.
Police have been contacted for more information.
