Thirteen lucky youngsters from across Kent have been chosen to star in Nativity! The Musical at The Marlowe.
The children, aged between nine to 12, will take to the stage in Canterbury tonight as students of Oakmoor School.
Nativity! tells the story of St Bernadette's School teacher Mr Maddens and his assistant Mr Poppy, as they struggle to make their pupils' wish to star in a nativity come true.
Based on the smash-hit films, the festive musical features popular songs such as Sparkle and Shine, Nazareth and One Night One Moment.
Thirteen youngsters from across the county were selected to star in the Canterbury show, after giving impressive performances during open auditions.
Among them are Harriet Tyman from Birchington, Mia Buss from Tunbridge Wells, Mia Austin from Ramsgate, Esme Connolly from Dover, Sienna Collins from Wesgate-on-Sea, Olivia Pegler from Gillingham, Mikey Colville from Folkestone, Lewis Aspinall from Hawkinge, Daisy Brain from Rochester, Lily Walters and Beau Stylianou from Herne Bay, and Lulu West and Danni Rose Vears from Deal.
Debbie Isitt, creator and director of the play, said: “This year’s auditions have been fantastic and we are excited to have some brand-new talent as well as previous cast joining us for another year.
"We are beyond thrilled with the talent in Kent and we can’t wait for the children and Cracker the dog to create a magical family experience with plenty of sparkle and shine at The Marlowe Theatre.”
Nativity! The Musical is at The Marlowe Theatre from tonight until Sunday (November 17), with various performance times.
Tickets can be booked online at The Marlowe's website or from the theatre's Box Office on 01227 787787.
