A warning for residents to keep their windows shut has been lifted after engineers fixed a major gas leak.
SGN teams spent four days repairing a faulty pipe off Ratling Road in Aylesham - setting up an exclusion zone and warning nearby homeowners not to light bonfires.

A depot for delivery firm Yodel was also evacuated as a precaution following the discovery of the dangerous leak on Sunday.
But complex repair work has today been completed and engineers have left the site.
It means those living in Nonnington and Aylesham no longer need to keep their doors and windows shut.
At the weekend, the stench of gas was so heavy it left onlookers feeling nauseous.
One said: "The roar from the sound of the gas escaping was quite staggering; it was completely at odds with the stillness in the air on what was a bright, beautiful day."
