Man ‘begs gang to stop’ amid attack in Sainsbury’s car park in Canterbury

Horrified shoppers witnessed a man “begging” a gang to stop attacking him in a Sainsbury’s car park.
Police were called to the fight at the supermarket in Kingsmead Road, Canterbury, yesterday evening, which involved four people.
Shocking footage shared on social media and seen by KentOnline appears to show three men kicking and punching another man in the car park.
The alarmed woman filming the brawl can be heard saying: “They won’t leave him alone”.
As they square up to the lone man, one of the gang shouts: “I’ll f*** you up, blud.”
Other footage shows the yobs kicking the man after falling to the ground.
The woman who captured the footage shared it on Facebook and wrote: “He was begging them to stop.
“They screamed at him and told him to get on his knees so they could get him some more.
“I hope someone knows who they are.
“One boy saw me recording and started shouting at me so I left the scene but police were called.”
A police spokesman confirmed they were called to a fight near Kingsmead Road, Canterbury at 7.30pm yesterday.
“Officers attended and arrested a 15-year-old boy in relation to the incident,” he said.
“He was later released pending further inquiries. No serious injuries were reported.”
