David Gallagher charged with burglary in Wincheap, Canterbury

A suspected burglar has been charged after reports of a man in a garden.

A resident reported seeing a suspected intruder in the courtyard of a house in Wincheap, Canterbury in the early hours of Wednesday, December 12.

After police were called, David Gallagher, 48, was arrested and has now been charged with burglary.

It was found that the contents of a shed had been emptied.

Gallagher, of no fixed address, has now been remanded and will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Thursday December 13.
