Canterbury: Amir Maroufkel, 23, charged with class A drugs offences

A 23-year-old man has been charged with conspiring to supply heroin and crack cocaine in Canterbury.
Amir Maroufkel, of Old Kent Road, London was arrested in Plumstead High Street last Thursday by officers investigating the supply of class A drugs.
He appeared at Canterbury Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with two drugs offences in the Canterbury area between October 23 and November 14 last year.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday, February 15.
The arrest was made as part of a police initiative to tackle, disrupt and prevent violent crime known as Operation Raptor.
