Bridge fall in Pin Hill, Canterbury, leaves man with serious leg injuries

A man has been seriously hurt after falling from a 30ft bridge onto Canterbury's ring-road.

Police and paramedics were called to Pin Hill at 4.25am when the victim - who is in his 20s - plunged from the overpass which links Club Chemistry nightclub and the city wall.

Onlookers say he was seen hanging from the bridge.

He suffered injuries to his legs in the fall, but is not in a life-threatening condition.

The road was closed until 5.30am while emergency services worked at the scene.
