Man taken to hospital after smash on main road in Canterbury

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash on a main road.
The accident happened on the A28 in the Thannington area of Canterbury today during rush hour traffic at 9.10am.
Emergency services attended the collision involving two cars and a man was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
A police spokesman said: “We were called to a two-car collision on the A28 Ashford Road, Thanington at 9.10am on Monday 12 June 2023.
“Officers attended and assisted with traffic management and the recovery of the vehicles involved.
“A man was taken to a local hospital as a precaution by South East Coast Ambulance Service.”
