Woman harassed on South Street in Canterbury

A man is wanted after trying to get a woman he didn't know into his car.

The victim was approached while walking along South Street in Canterbury on Friday, December 6 between 2.30pm and 2.40pm.

He made unwanted advances before inviting her to get into his car, a black hatchback.

The victim did not engage in conversation and at no point was physical contact made.

Police have now released the details and appealed for witnesses.

The man is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build and in his 20s.

He has dark hair and stubble, and at the time was wearing a hi-vis jacket with grey trousers and dark trainers.

Anyone who recognises the person in the released e-fit is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/233635/19.
