Police have released this CCTV image after an attack in Canterbury
Police looking for a man in connection with an assault in Canterbury have released a CCTV image of a suspect they want to speak to.
It happened at around 10.40pm on New Year’s Eve when two friends were appoached by another man as they walked in the High Street.
He pushed one of them and an altercation followed in which the 24-year-old victim was left with a broken finger and cuts to his hand which needed surgery.
The offender is described as a white male and was wearing a white t-shirt and green/khaki coloured trousers. He is pictured on the right in the CCTV image.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Detective Constable Tara Atkins at Kent Police by calling 101 and quoting crime reference number ZY/470/13.
