Manhunt after teenage boy, 17, reportedly raped in Canterbury’s Dane John Gardens toilet

Police are hunting a suspect after a 17-year-old boy was reportedly raped inside a park’s public toilet.

Detectives have released an e-fit image following the alleged attack in Dane John Gardens, near Canterbury’s city centre.

Police say the perpetrator spoke to the teenager inside the park before raping him.

A report was later made to the force and, following further enquiries, officers believe the incident took place between 5pm and 6pm on Monday, February 5.

A police spokesman said: “The suspect is described as white, around 6ft tall, in his late 30s and was wearing a dark hooded top and grey-blue jogging bottoms.”
