Probe launched as ‘stabbed man’ arrives at Canterbury police station

A man reportedly stabbed in the early hours of the morning was taken to a London hospital after arriving at a police station wounded.
Police have launched a probe after the individual was conveyed to their Canterbury headquarters in Old Dover Road at 1.15am this morning.
An air ambulance landed in fields next to Rheims Way at 1.55am, according to reports.
The victim was taken to a London hospital, where he remains.
A police spokesman said: “Officers are investigating after an injured man was brought to Canterbury police station at about 1.15am on Tuesday 19 September 2023.
“The victim was taken to a London hospital with injuries consistent with a stab wound where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
