Diners will soon be able to get 50% off the price of their meals at restaurants and pubs across Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay and Faversham as part of the government's drive to revive the hospitality industry.

The Eat Out to Help Out Scheme, which opens on Monday, August 3, encourages people to support businesses post-lockdown by spending money on a meal out.

Eateries taking part will give a discount of up to £10 per customer on food and soft drinks every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until August 31.
