Mr Wisker says his friend had suffered with mental health problems and was deeply affected by the death of good friend, Luke Williams.
He said: "I am not sure he has been the same since this happened. We have got people out looking for him but I wanted to share this on social media - it is had a good response and we are hoping to find him."
Mr Williams, 29, died of cancer in 2014 and hit the headlines with his courageous fundraising efforts which saw him raise thousands for Pilgrims Hospices and cancer charities.
