Festival promoters have released further details of this summer’s line-up at Lounge on the Farm.

The Subways and Congo Natty – formerly Rebel MC – are set to take to the stage in Merton Farm, Canterbury, on August 2.

They are the latest acts to confirm and add to a bill already boasting Fun Lovin' Criminals, Peter Hook and the Light and DJ Yoda.

The Subways have never performed at the outdoor event before, though they were one of the most popular bookings at the Lounge promoters’ former venue, the Farmhouse in Dover Street.

Festival regulars Syd Arthur will also appear, fresh from a high profile slot at Coachella in the US.

Home-grown talent Sam Sure will also appear. It is the first time he will appear as a solo artist at the Lounge without GIacomo.

Traditionally a three-day event, organisers have trimmed the festival down to a single day this year, before it moves to a new venue in 2015.

Only 2,500 tickets will be available, alongside 500 camping pitches.
