Teenager thrown from motorbike in crash on A2050 between Upper Harbledown Canterbury

A 17-year-old boy was thrown from his motorcycle after a crash with a car attempting to overtake.
The incident between Upper Harbledown and Canterbury saw the A2050 partially blocked in both directions.
The smash, just before 8.30am, was attended by emergency services including the fire service and police.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service provided first aid while those involved awaited an ambulance.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “We were called at 08.52 today to reports of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Harbledown Bypass, in Harbledown, Canterbury.
“Two fire engines attended and crews helped to make the scene safe.”
The stretch between Kent College Junior School and Harbledown was worst-affected.
Kent Police has been approached for comment.
