Canterbury traffic delays after crash in Sturry Road

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash which caused long traffic delays this morning.
The collision happened in Sturry Road, Canterbury, near Reed Avenue at about 7.55am.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash involving a motorbike and a car.
An ambulance service spokesperson said the male motorcyclist was taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
The road was shut while the incident was responded to but has since reopened.
Kent County Council Highways warned motorists to expect "long delays" in the area.
