Murder arrest after woman dies at house in Long Acre Close, Canterbury

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died at a flat in Canterbury this morning.
Police were called to the property in Long Acre Close shortly before 11.30am following reports a woman had suffered injuries.
Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene, but she was tragically pronounced dead inside the flat.
A 52-year-old man, who was known to the woman, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
The age of the alleged victim has not yet been released.
Police officers are still at the scene, with forensics specialists seen going in and out of the flat.
