One lane was closed on the Thanet Way near Herne Bayn this afternoon after a car collided with the crash barrier.
Early reports suggested a multi-vehicle pile up but only one was involved, with several others pulling over to help.
Police were called at 1.15pm to the incident about half-a-mile before the Herne Bay turn off coastbound on the Thanet Way A299.
One lane was briefly closed but fully reopened by 2.50pm.
