Greenhouse fire in Sturry started by patio heater

A fire which destroyed a greenhouse was started when a patio heater set fire to plants.
Emergency crews were called to the garden in Herne Bay Road in Sturry to put out the blaze.
The fire spread from the plants to wood and other items inside the structure.
Teams were at the home, near Canterbury, from 2.45pm and with the incident under control just after 3pm.
