Emergency services attend Canterbury West station after person in need of medical attention

A person was taken to hospital following an incident at a train station.
British Transport Police and paramedics were called to Canterbury West at about 10pm on Monday (June 17).
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said: “We were called shortly before 10pm to reports of a person in need of medical attention at Canterbury West station.
“Crews arrived on scene and assessed and treated one person.”
They were then taken to the QEQM Hospital in Margate for further treatment.
The incident led to some trains in the area being delayed.
Passengers travelling between Ashford and Ramsgate via Canterbury West were advised to commute via Dover while emergency services were in attendance.
