Witness appeal after fatal crash in Dane Street, Chilham

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal accident yesterday.
It happened in Dane Street, Chilham, at 3.36pm, when, for reasons unknown, a red Renault Kadjar left the road and collided with a tree.
The passenger, a 49-year-old local man died at the scene. The driver suffered minor injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to officers is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit appeal line on 01622 798538 quoting reference 10-0911.
