Police called to Thanington Road bridge over A2 in Canterbury

Police have been called after concerns for a woman’s welfare on a busy bridge over a dual carriageway.
Officers have been seen talking to the woman on the road over the A2 in Canterbury.
The A28 Thanington Road in and out of the city near Wincheap remains open.
One police car was seen shortly before 5pm and it is understood officers were talking to two people.
A police spokesman confirmed officers were at the scene responding to concerns for a woman’s welfare.
