A28 Ashford Road in Thanington closed following accident at Tonford Lane

A van and a BMW were involved in a head-on crash on the A28 Ashford Road in Thanington at 12.30pm today.
The driver of the BMW suffered a leg injury while the driver of the van left the scene by foot and was being sought by police.
The accident took place close to the junction with Tonford Lane.
Police closed the road diverted traffic along St Nicholas Road. It was reopened at 2.30pm.
