Police are continuing to guard a tattoo shop in Canterbury where two people died last night.
Screens are blocking GothInk Studio, in Lower Bridge Street, and a cordon is in place.
A heavy emergency response was sent to the scene at 5.20pm yesterday, with officers shutting the city's ring-road for a number of hours.
Detectives have now confirmed that a man, 54, and woman, 35, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
However, officers are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
A small section of Lower Bridge Street, outside the tattoo studio, is this morning down to one lane.
A post on Instagram says all appointments at the parlour are cancelled, with the shop closed over the next few days.
