Man who tried to kiss woman in Dane John Gardens, Canterbury, is wanted by police

Police are hunting for a middle-aged man who made an unwanted advance upon a 22-year-old woman in a Canterbury park.
The woman has reported that the man tried to kiss her in the Dane John Gardens at 3.45pm yesterday.
She pushed him away and reported the incident to police.

The woman, a sightseer in the city, had been befriended by the man earlier in the day and gone to the park with him.
He is described as aged between 40 and 50, of medium build, around 5ft 6ins tall with untidy dark brown hair. He wore a dark jacket, grey jeans and was carrying a guitar case.
Officers do not believe that the incident is linked to indecent exposure offences in Canterbury recently.
