Police urge witnesses of fatal crash on A2 near Barham to come forward

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a man died in a crash.
Officers were called to the collision on the A2 near Barham, between Canterbury and Dover, last Wednesday at about 6.40am.
It was reported that a blue BMW 3 Series was joining the A2 via the slip road when it was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a white DAF lorry.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are continuing their inquiries and would like to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the incident.
“Anyone with dashcam footage taken in the area around the time is also encouraged to come forward.”
