Delays on the A291 between Herne Bay and Canterbury

Drivers suffered long delays following a two-car crash between Herne Bay and Canterbury.
The A291 was closed at Sturry Hill, near The Punch Tavern, while arrangements are made for the cars to be recovered.
It was shut between Sweechgate and Hicks Forstal Road.
Police were called to the scene and traffic was diverted through Broad Oak.
There were no reports of any serious injuries following the collision, which happened at 3.45pm.
