Queues build on A28 Ashford Road after two crashes near Chilham and Chartham, near Canterbury

Two crashes caused delays on a major road at rush hour.
Traffic built up on the A28 following the collisions near Canterbury.
The road was partially blocked near Chilham following a crash between three cars.
Emergency services were said to be on scene, with congestion in both directions.
It is not known if anyone has been injured in the collision, which stopped traffic at the junction with Shalmsford Street.
Closer to Canterbury, there was a second crash in Station Road coming into Chartham.
The collision at the junction with the A28 is believed to have involved a bus and a car.
Both incidents have now cleared and traffic is beginning to flow freely.
