A driver suffered shock when her car collided with a lorry on the Wincheap roundabout this afternoon.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the busy junction at 2.15pm, after the crash involving a Ford Ka and a HGV.
The lorry is thought to have clipped the back of the car, trapping the female driver inside.
Part of Pin Hill and Rheims Way was closed for about half an hour while the woman was freed.
She was suffering from shock, but both her and the lorry driver were unhurt.
Diversions were put in place and traffic built up in the area until the road was re-opened at 2.45pm.
