The victim of a shooting in Canterbury has been inundated with support from friends and family.
Danny Mobey, who remains in hospital, was gunned down in Godwin Road, Thanington, before being found seriously injured a mile away in Oxford Road, Wincheap.
The Margate man, who is in his 20s, is thought to have been targeted by two men in balaclavas who pulled up in a silver Audi with blacked out windows.
Mr Mobey was shot in the stomach on Thursday before the car sped off.
He is understood to have suffered a broken pelvis and punctured kidney and underwent surgery at the weekend.
He has since received hundreds of messages of support from family and friends while he recovers from his serious injuries in hospital.
No one has yet been arrested.
Forensic investigators dressed all in white were in Thanington on Friday where a house was cordoned off.
Officers searched wheelie bins and scoured a section of Godwin Road for evidence.
An investigation launched by The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is ongoing.
Anyone with information should call police on 01843 222289, quoting 19-1619, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
