A 19th century brick building could soon be demolished after being listed for auction.
The Forge in Longport, Canterbury, and an old builder's yard next to it are being sold by land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.
With planning permission in place to knock down the dilapidated Victorian structure and to build six new homes, the 0.06 hectare site is likely to be snapped up by a developer or investor.
The plot, at 14 Ivy Lane, is within Canterbury's conservation area and is being sold for a guide sum of £750-780,000 on June 12.
Clive Emson auctioneer Kevin Gilbert said: "Of the proposed houses, three would have four bedrooms and three would have two.
"Property remains at a premium and demand is still high so we expect a great deal of interest in this site on the outskirts of Canterbury."
Also being sold on the same day is a one-bedroom flat in the Hoystings, Old Dover Road for £115-135,000, a three-bed house in Old Park Avenue for £150,000 and a two-bed flat in a purpose built block in Strangers Lane for £90-95,000.
The auction takes place oat the Clive Emson Conference Centre, Kent County Showground, Detling and begins at 11am.
