Staff tips and safe stolen from The Coffee Corner, Canterbury, in break-in

A plea has been sent out to the local community after staff tips and cash were stolen from a cafe.
The break-in at The Coffee Corner in St Dunstan’s Street, Canterbury, happened on Monday evening.
It has been reported that a safe and a quantity of cash, including staff tips, were taken between 11pm and midnight.
After the theft, an appeal was launched on social media, rallying locals to support the independent business.
It said: “More than ever these guys need you to show your support by popping in for a pasty, coffee or grabbing a sweet treat on the way home.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the burglary.
