A Strictly Come Dancing champion who has hosted This Morning and The One Show is set to star in Kent's biggest pantomime.
Bosses from the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury have revealed TV star Ore Oduba will feature in an adaptation of Sleeping Beauty over the festive season.
It has been announced the 36-year-old will play Prince Orlando in the show which will open on November 25.
He said: "I know that everybody loves The Marlowe panto.
"It’s such a popular experience for everybody around Christmas, so I feel really privileged and lucky to be part of this show."
Mr Oduba has fronted some of the biggest national events on live television, including the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and hosted prime-time programmes on ITV and the BBC.
But he is best known for winning the 14th series of Strictly in 2016.
The champion dancer will be joined by West End performer and social media influencer Carrie Hope Fletcher, who will take to the stage as the villain Carabosse.
She has appeared in Les Misérables and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, which were both performed in London.
Ms Fletcher was also named in the Sunday Times' top 100 influencers list in the United Kingdom.
Kent's leading panto dame, Ben Roddy, will return for his 13th pantomime at the Marlowe.
Performances of Sleeping Beauty will run until January 8 and tickets can be booked through marlowetheatre.com.
