Josh Burton to appear at Canterbury Crown Court charged with 11 offences

A suspected thief is to appear in court charged with 11 offences ranging from stealing laptops and watches, to pinching number plates and commemorative coins.
Josh Burton, 25, was arrested by police on Thursday in connection with the Canterbury crimes.
The separate offences took place across a nine-month period from September 2018 to last month.
The alleged crimes include, the attempted theft of a car, house burglaries, cash theft and the attempted burglary of a shed.
The charges against Josh Burton:
- Theft of a quantity of lead from a building in North Lane in Canterbury on 30 October and 2 November 2018.
- Burglary of a property in Fordwich Road, Canterbury where two watches were stolen between 19 September and 20 September 2018.
- Burglary of a property in Fordwich Road, Canterbury where two laptops and cash was reported stolen between 19 and 20 September 2018.
- Theft of cash from a vehicle in Havelock Street, Canterbury between 24 and 25 March 2019.
- The attempted burglary of a shed in Broad Oak Road, Canterbury, between 6 and 7 May 2019.
- The attempted theft from a car in Bramshaw Road, Canterbury between 10 and 11 March 2019.
- Handling a stolen number plate between 13 and 15 September 2018 in Canterbury.
- Stealing a number plate between 13 and 15 September 2018 in Clements Close, Canterbury.
- Handling stolen commemorative coins in Canterbury on 5 April 2019 which were reportedly taken from a property near Hallett Walk in Canterbury the previous day.
- Handling a stolen bank card belonging to a person in Canterbury between 9 and 10 September 2018.
- Carrying out fraud by using a stolen bank card in Canterbury on 10 September 2018.
Of no fixed address, Burton remains in custody after he appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Friday.
He will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, July 1.
