Police are still investigating a 'suspicious' incident after a car chase, involving the police helicopter, led them to Sturry, near Canterbury last night.
Officers identified the suspect vehicle in Town Lane at Chartham Hatch around 11.15pm yesterday evening.
But the car failed to stop after officers pursued the car with support from the helicopter.
The car stopped in Fordwich Road, where the driver fled the vehicle.
A search of the area was carried out but no one was located.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
