Suspected lead thieves found crouching in bushes and hiding in a shed in Canterbury

Two suspected lead thieves have been arrested after one was found crouching in bushes and another in a garden shed.
Police were called just before 5am on Wednesday to a report of two people taking metal from the roof of a building in King Street.
Two men were seen running away and lead, believed to be stolen, was found in a nearby garden.
Officers searching the area found a man hiding in bushes in a garden in Mill Lane and a second man inside a shed.
A 21-year-old and a 20-year-old from Canterbury were arrested on suspicion of theft.
They have both been released under investigation.
