Thieves have raided a jewellery shop after smashing through a window and swiping stock.
The Iconic store in The Parade, Canterbury, was targeted during an early-morning burglary - forcing them to shut while the mess was cleared up.
The incident happened shortly before 4am yesterday, and police are investigating.
Iconic bosses said on Instagram: "So sad this morning in Canterbury to come in to this.
"A smashed window and some items stolen. We're in store waiting for the police and tidying the mess.
"Luckily our shutters stopped them getting further into our lovely shop."
Staff were unable to open the shop yesterday morning but welcomed back customers at about 2pm.
A police spokesperson confirmed the force is investigating the burglary.
"It was reported that at about 3.45am on Monday, a window was damaged and a quantity of jewellery was stolen," they said.
Anyone with information regarding the break-in is asked to call police on 01843 222289, quoting 46/71828/22.
